Genealogy Contest – Week Ten/Sept.14 (ENDED)
We have TEN excellent prizes to give away in this week’s genealogy contest. Ten fortunate winners will each receive one electronic PDF copy of Writing Your Family Legacy by genealogist, author, and speaker Linda Weaver Clarke.
The Genealogy Contest Prize
Linda Weaver Clarke says, “It’s important to teach our children their heritage. Who are your ancestors? What were their traditions? Each of us has a story from our ancestors or even our own story to tell. If these stories are unwritten, then how are your children going to know of their parentage? It’s up to us to write these experiences down. With the help of this eBook — Writing Your Family Legacy – make your family legacy something your children will be proud of.”
Linda Weaver Clarke travels throughout the United States, teaching a Family Legacy Workshop, encouraging people to write their family history and autobiography. She is the author of eight novels. The historical romance series, “A Family Saga in Bear Lake, Idaho,” includes: Melinda and the Wild West - a finalist for the Reviewers Choice Award 2007. She also has a mystery/adventure series, “The Adventures of John and Julia Evans.”
Below, is a short video trailer about Writing Your Family Legacy, which can also be purchased at Amazon.com.
You can read more about Linda and her work on her website at www.lindaweaverclarke.com, and on Facebook at www.facebook.com.

Sorry I ended up in the wrong place. I don’t think I’m the only one from a comment or two I’ve seen on FB, but thanks for counting my entry. Some of us are just not computer savvy enough for all these different places to go before we finally end up in the right place, I guess.

Hope it works!
Linda, I am currently immersed in my third family history book. Previously I did one for my mother-in-law at her request, then had to do one for my mom, and now my brother and I are in the process of collecting data and editing for a more challenging book on our father’s Johnson/Johnston/Johnstone family and allied lines. I always include lots of photos and anecdotes to make the people real. I’m so pleased you encourage people to write down their history. I’ve finally talked my husband into writing his memoirs for our daughters as well as his nieces and nephews. I tell all my friends to do this.
Here’s my entry!
